Tocoms Philippines, Inc. stared operations on April 2000. Since its inception, Tocoms has been appointed and is an exclusive distributor of Philips DAP (Domestic Appliances) in the Philippine Market. This includes major household and kitchen appliances that includes: Irons, rice cookers, induction cookers, blenders, juicers, coffeemakers, sandwich makers, toasters, kettles, deep fryers, shavers, trimmers, hair dryers, hair stylers, vacuum cleaners, infra-red lamps and oral care products.

Throughout the years, Tocoms has consistently grown the domestic appliance business for Philips locally. Starting with a few core dealers/customers retailing and wholesaling Philips DAP products, it has grown the business to over 250 stores nationwide. In order to better address the local market and further enhance the business, Tocoms undertook major investments in 2008 by adding key personnel in its sales and marketing department as well as in its logistics & warehousing departments. This would ensure a smoother operating environment internally as well as coordination with external clients. Proof of this is the resilience of the brand as compared with competition as well as the name recall from customers who acknowledge that the Philips DAP is synonymous with quality and reliability.

Tocoms Philippines after partnership with Philips Domestic Appliances for almost 12 years has decided to carry a new brand from spectrum Group of Companies, Spectrum is the company responsible in developing brands like varta and Rayovac (Batteries), Remington (Beauty Products), and Russell Hobbs (Small Kitchen Appliance) but recently acquired Black and Decker Small Kitchen, Power and Hand Tools and Lock set and continuously developing new products for the fast developing technology.

Tocoms has an exclusive agreement with Russell Hobbs and Remington Brand to carry small kitchen and beauty Products in the Philippines.

Using its current network and logistics, just right after a year that tocoms has brought the Russell Hobbs and Spectrum products to the market, it is now considered to be a major brand in the Small Kitchen Appliances business and are present in almost 200 stores of major appliance dealer.
